ran a heavy industrial generator from 7:30 AM to 9:30 almost daily just so someone could sit inside and watch the big screen TV. but the host did not follow the same etiquette. We use a generator and try to be courteous and not start it before 9 am and don't leave it running longer than necessary. Placed cleared out during the week and felt we had the place almost to ourselves.

Its a great hike to do on overcast or rainy days as the heavy tree cover keeps hikers relatively dry. The hike is a nice exercise that almost reaches 2,250 feet in elevation gain. We booked a week at Tally Lake Aug 6 -14. The Tally Lake Trail is a stunning hike through large old larch, Douglas fir, spruce and ponderosa pine which conceal Tally Mountain.
